The Hope We have in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

Hope comes from the Holy Spirit-- Romans 15:13 (TEV) May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus’ resurrection gives us hope-- 1 Corinthians 6:14 (TEV) God raised the Lord from death, and he will also raise us by his power.

We have hope in Jesus-- 1 Corinthians 15:19 (TEV) If our hope in Christ is good for this life only and no more, then we deserve more pity than anyone else in all the world.

We have confidence of eternal life-- Titus 1:1-3 (TEV) 1 From Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I was chosen and sent to help the faith of God's chosen people and to lead them to the truth taught by our religion, 2 which is based on the hope for eternal life. God, who does not lie, promised us this life before the beginning of time, 3 and at the right time he revealed it in his message. This was entrusted to me, and I proclaim it by order of God our Savior.

"The word hope I take for faith; and indeed hope is nothing else but the constancy of faith."
John Calvin (1509-1564)
