Christ Shares Our Burdens

Philippians 1:18-19 (NIV) 18 The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, 19 for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.

2 Timothy 1:13-14 (NIV) 13 What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you--guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

Hebrews 2:18 (NIV) Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

"The heaviest end of the cross lies ever on His shoulders. If He bids us carry a burden, He carries it also." —Charles Haddon Spurgeon
