Courage

God gives us victory: Psalm 112:8 (NIV) His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.

Jesus’ strength gives us courage: John 16:33 (NIV)  "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Courage helps us boldly represent Christ: Acts 4:31 (NIV) After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Christians should be courageous: 1 Corinthians 16:13 (NIV) Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

"Take courage. We walk in the wilderness today and in the Promised Land tomorrow."
Dwight Lyman Moody (1837-1899)
