Compromise

Do not compromise your convictions: 1 Kings 11:4 (NIV) As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father had been.

Compromise of civil disputes can be wise: Matthew 5:25 (NIV) 25 "Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.

Do not compromise godly things for worldly things: Matthew 6:24 (NIV)
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."

Compromise can keep us from doing what is right: Mark 15:15 (NIV)
15 Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

Compromise can weaken faith:  (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

"The swift wind of compromise is a lot more devastating than the sudden jolt of misfortune."
