Mark 4:39-40 (NIV) 39  He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40  He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"

Luke 12:32 (NIV) 32  "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Isaiah 41:13 (NIV) 13  For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Proverbs 1:32-33 (NIV) 32  For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; 33  but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm."

2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) 7  For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

God incarnate is the end of fear; and the heart that realizes that he is in the midst... will be quiet in the midst of alarm.  F. B. Meyer (1847-1929) Draper's Book of Quotations for the Christian World.
