Service to God by Serving with Others

Good Samaritan

Galatians 5:13 (The Message)  It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don't use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that's how freedom grows.

2 Corinthians 9:7 (NET Bible - First Edition) Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver.

1 Peter 4:10 (NET1)  Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

Luke 6:38 (The Message) Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity."

Before the judgment seat of Christ my service will not be judged by how much I have done but by how much of me there is in it. No man gives at all until he has given all. No man gives anything acceptable to God until he has first given himself in love and sacrifice.        A. W. Tozer (1897-1963) [Draper's Book of Quotations for the Christian World]
