God’s Word: The Direct Revelation from Jesus Christ

Devotions

Psalm 119:172 (NLT) 172  Let my tongue sing about your word, for all your commands are right.

1 Corinthians 15:1-2 (NLT) 1  Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. 2  It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.

1 John 1:3-4 (NLT) 3  We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4  We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy.

Romans 1:1-2 (NLT) 1  This letter is from Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, chosen by God to be an apostle and sent out to preach his Good News. 2  God promised this Good News long ago through his prophets in the holy Scriptures.

Galatians 1:11-12 (NLT) 11  Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning. 12  I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ.

A loving Personality dominates the Bible, walking among the trees of the garden and breathing fragrance over every scene. Always a living Person is present, speaking, pleading, loving, working, and manifesting himself whenever and wherever his people have the receptivity necessary to receive the manifestation.  A. W. Tozer (1897-1963) Draper's Book of Quotations for the Christian World.
