Give praise to that All-Gracious One

Weeping Jesus

Psalm 69:30 (NIV) I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.

Isaiah 51:3 (NIV) The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.

Jonah 2:9 (NIV) But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD."

2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV) You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Heap high the board with plenteous

cheer, and gather to the feast,

And toast the sturdy Pilgrim band

whose courage never ceased.

Give praise to that All-Gracious One

by whom their steps were led,

And thanks unto the harvest's Lord

who sends our daily bread.
