The True Spirit of Christmas

Isaiah 40:30-31 (NIV) 30  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31  but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

This Holiday Season, you don't have to be stressed out.  You don't have to be tired and weary.  Stop and take pause.  Remember that this Christmas Season isn't about material gift giving.  It is about the Gift from God the Father of His Son, Jesus the Christ, who left His home in glory to be born in the lowliest of places--a manger in a little village called Bethlehem.  The spirit of commercialism stresses, stifles and kills.  The true Spirit of Christmas brings joy, peace and eternal life. -- Pastor Darvin
