The Light Within

People are like stained glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out. But in the darkness, beauty is seen only if there is a light within. —Unknown

1 Peter 3:3-4 (NLT2) Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. 4  You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

Matthew 5:16 (KJV) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
