Trust God Everyday–whatever happens

Hebrews 4:1 (NLT)  God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it.

Colossians 1:23 (NLT)  But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.

Occasional high days, answers to prayer now and then, temporary blessings, make an uneven and spasmodic Christian life. But to live day in and out, all kinds of days, in simple dependence on Christ as the branch on the vine, constantly abiding, that is the supreme experience. —Vance Havner
