The Intolerant

Many years ago, A. W. Tozer had this to say about some "modern" people who claim to be tolerant of other's views:  "But as soon as you begin to quote the words of Jesus and the Scriptures that declare there is only one mediator between God and mankind, as soon as you insist that Christ has given us the only way to God through His death and atonement, you are dead!  That is bigoted, narrow dogmatism," they shout. "No more dialogue with you! You have no place on a panel where we are co-operatively interested in intellectual ferment!"

Pastor Darvin: Things have not changed much over the years, except to say that they are getting worse.

Acts 4:12 (NLT)   There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved [except that of Jesus Christ].”
