"Religion is clearly not the major cause of war." According to Vincent Carroll of Denver's Rocky Mountain News, "The two major sources of bloodletting in the 20th century were communism and fascism, or Nazism." He said. Retired Army Lt. Col. Bob Maginnis agrees. Those who are truly orthodox are people of great compassion, great faith, great generosity and not terribly warlike." Maginnis said. Some warmongers may use religion as a cover for their hate, but that doesn't mean religion is the cause. "Osama bin Laden is a good example." Maginnis said. "I'm not sure that he's truly a man of Allah."  —SBC Life, November 2001.  From: Jim L. Wilson, Fresh Illustrations, (Austin, TX: WORDsearch, 2004), WORDsearch CROSS e-book, Under: "W".  [Bin Laden, of course, is dead, but the religious terrorism that struck Manchester, England in recent days reminds us of the truth of these statements.  What is the solution?--only Jesus Christ coming again!]

Isaiah 2:4 (KJV) 4  And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
