Seeking God

Luke 11:10 (TLB) Everyone who asks, receives; all who seek, find; and the door is opened to everyone who knocks.

Deuteronomy 4:29 (TLB) But you will also begin to search again for Jehovah your God, and you will find him when you search for him with all your heart and soul.

Isaiah 55:6 (TLB) Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call upon him now while he is near.

Acts 17:27 (TLB) His purpose in all of this is that they should seek after God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.

The turning point in our lives is when we stop seeking the God we want and start seeking the God who is. —Patrick Morley
