Bearing Fruits to God’s Glory

John 15:4 (NIV) Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

John 15:8 (NIV) This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Matthew 9:8 (NIV) When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to men.

Our task as laymen is to live our personal communion with Christ with such intensity as to make it contagious.—Paul Tournier
