PRAISE GOD

openbible 940x320

Psalm 9:1 (NIV) Iwill praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.

Psalm 105:1-3 (NIV) 1  Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. 2  Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. 3  Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

1 Corinthians 15:57 (NIV) But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 13:15 (NIV) Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess his name.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:  A man was converted some years ago, and he was brimful of praise. He was living in the light all the time.  He used to preface everything he said in the meeting with "Praise God!" One night he came to the meeting with his finger all bound up. He had cut it, and cut it badly, too. Well, I wondered how he would praise God for this; but he got up and said—"I have cut my finger; but, praise God, I didn't cut it off!"  If things go against you, just remember they might be a good deal worse.   D.
