Practice True Testimony

Mark 5:18-19 (NIV) 18  As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. 19  Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."

So much so-called "testimony" today is really autobiography and even sometimes thinly disguised self-advertisement, that we need to regain a proper biblical perspective. All true testimony is testimony to Jesus Christ, as he stands on trial before the world. -- John Stott
