Acting like His sons and daughters

2 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV) For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

1 Corinthians 10:33 (NIV)  . . even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.

Matthew 6:1 (NIV) "Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."

Love when you expect no love in return.
Do good without expecting thanks.
Lend when you do not hope for a return.
This will make us act like the sons and daughters of the Most High.
