Make Good on our Opportunities to Share Jesus with Others

Proverbs 3:27 (NIV) Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.

Galatians 6:10 (HCSB) Therefore, as we have opportunity, we must work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.

Ephesians 5:15-17 (TLB) 15  So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise: 16  make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. 17  Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to.

Colossians 4:5-6 (MSG) 5  Use your heads as you live and work among outsiders. Don't miss a trick. Make the most of every opportunity. 6  Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out.

The foe of opportunity is preoccupation. Just when God sends along a chance to turn a great victory for mankind, some of us are too busy puttering around to notice it. Or we notice it when it is too late. -- A. W. Tozer
