Our God of Comfort

Psalm 46:1-3 (NIV) 1  God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3  though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah

Psalm 55:22 (NIV) Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

John 16:33 (NIV) "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

God is closest to those whose hearts are broken.  Jewish Proverb
