1 Corinthians 13:4 (HCSB) Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited.

Galatians 5:22 (HCSB) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith.

Ephesians 4:1-3 (HCSB) 1 Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, 3 diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us.

No one will ever know the full depth of his capacity for patience and humility as long as nothing bothers him. It is only when times are troubled and difficult that he can see how much of either is in him.  Saint Francis of Assisi (c. 1181-1226)
