The Frailest Thing between Two Outcomes

"Between us and heaven and hell there is only life, which is the frailest thing in the world."  Blaise Pascal

John 14:2 (TEV) There are many rooms in my Father's house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I would not tell you this if it were not so.

2 Corinthians 5:2 (NET1) For in this earthly house we groan, because we desire to put on our heavenly dwelling.

Colossians 3:1-5 (TEV) 1 You have been raised to life with Christ, so set your hearts on the things that are in heaven, where Christ sits on his throne at the right side of God. 2 Keep your minds fixed on things there, not on things here on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 Your real life is Christ and when he appears, then you too will appear with him and share his glory! 5 You must put to death, then, the earthly desires at work in you, such as sexual immorality, indecency, lust, evil passions, and greed (for greed is a form of idolatry).

Revelation 21:8 (TEV) But cowards, traitors, perverts, murderers, the immoral, those who practice magic, those who worship idols, and all liars—the place for them is the lake burning with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."
