WISE PEOPLE SEEK ADVICE: Proverbs 1:5 (ESV)
Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance,
ADVICE HELPS PROVIDE SUCCESS TO THE NATION:
Proverbs 11:14 (TLB) Without wise leadership, a nation is in trouble; but with good counselors there is safety.
FOOLISH PEOPLE DO NOT LISTEN TO ADVICE:
Proverbs 12:15 (TLB) A fool thinks he needs no advice, but a wise man listens to others.
GIVE ADVICE TO THOSE IN NEED:
1 Thessalonians 5:14 (AMP) And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish (warn and seriously advise) those who are out of line [the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly]; encourage the timid and fainthearted, help and give your support to the weak souls, [and] be very patient with everybody [always keeping your temper].
