Speaking of abortion, the early Church father, Tertullian (c. 160-after 220 A.D.), rightly said: "For us murder is once for all forbidden; so even the child in the womb... is not lawful for us to destroy. To forbid birth is only quicker murder.... The fruit is always present in the seed."
Psalm 51.5 “For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.” (NLT) [If we are sinners from the time of conception--and we surely are--then an embryo constitutes a human life.]
