Compromise

Matthew 6:24 (NLT2)  “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."

Compromise is but the sacrifice of one right or good in the hope of retaining another—too often ending in the loss of both. -- Tryon Edwards (1809-1894)
