Bible Text: Jeremiah 32:2-15

Last Sunday, we began to consider what it entails to build the “house of faith” in our hearts–i.e. what it mean to “believe” in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  The foundation of that “house” starts with believing in God’s existence, despite atheists’ claims to the contrary.   But, the Christian belief in God goes far beyond merely acknowledging God’s existence.  (After all, even the demons to as much).  This Sunday come and consider the ingredients to a true and full belief in Jesus Christ. The Scriptures emphasize that in order to be saved we must BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST.  And while we, as Christians, profess to believe, we also need to understand that we live in an unbelieving world that views our faith as a mere myth.  Such unbelievers argue that that myth begins with the creation narrative in Genesis 1:1.  How do we respond to such an unbelieving world?
