Money Will Not Buy. . .

Devotion open bible

Proverbs 23:4-5 (NIV) 4  Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. 5  Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.

Psalm 37:16 (NIV) 16  Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked;

James 2:5 (NIV) 5  Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? Ecclesiastes 4:6 (NIV) 6  Better one handful with tranquillity than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind.

Money will buy a bed but not sleep; books but not brains; food but not appetite; finery but not beauty; a house but not a home; medicine but not health; luxuries but not culture; amusements but not happiness; religion but not salvation—a passport to everywhere but heaven.
