Self-imposed loneliness

Isaiah 5:8 (NLT2)   What sorrow for you who buy up house after house and field after field, until everyone is evicted and you live alone in the land.

Sometimes loneliness is self-imposed as we almost unconsciously push loved ones away by dedicating ourselves to those things of the world that really don't matter.
