Patience

Miracles

Hebrews 10:36 (TLB)  You need to keep on patiently doing God’s will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised.

James 1:2-4 (TLB) 2  Dear brothers, is your life full of difficulties and temptations? Then be happy, 3  for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. 4  So let it grow, and don’t try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete.

Romans 5:3-4 (TLB) 3  We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to be patient. 4  And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.

Galatians 6:9 (TLB) 9  And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

God engineers our circumstances as he did those of his Son; all we have to do is to follow where he places us. The majority of us are busy trying to place ourselves. God alters things while we wait for him. Oswald Chambers (1874-1917) Draper's Book of Quotations for the Christian World.
